Every day there are stories in the news about organizations, the workplace, careers, and jobs. Now that —you are learning about organizational behaviour, you can begin to interpret and understand these stories in a more informed manner. So let’s get started. Look for an article in your local newspaper that has something to do with work or organizations. Pay particular. attention to articles in the business or careers section - of the paper. Read the article as you normally would and then write a short summary of the article and what you have learned from it. Then read the article - again, but this time answer the following questions:

1. What does the article tell you about organizational behaviour? Refer to the sections What Are Organizations? and What Is Organizational Behaviour? in this chapter to answer this question.
