Use an Internet and library search to find examples of organizations that have adopted widespread organizational change. Try to find at least one example each of culture change, TQM, BPR, Six Sigma, the Balanced Scorecard and any other approach not listed. Now undertake the following analysis:

a Identify the different strategies of power involved in each approach.

Make notes on differences between the approaches in terms of the types of power utilized. What can we learn from this?

b What is the role of leadership in the various examples? Makes notes on the differences between different leadership styles and power.
