The broadcast of the documentary was followed the next day by public protests involving several hundred people outside the Dramaten, the famous Stockholm theatre, where Ramberg was starring in a play. On social media, many people expressed sympathy for Nilsson, and anger at Ramberg.
In response, the theatre cancelled two of Ramberg’s performances. Dramaten’s Chief Executive, Eirik Stubø said: ‘There are many who have been affected by this and there is a concern among our employees as well as among our audience’.
