Just start with something. Discuss as a team and agree on the first cut at WIP limits. Over time, adjust the WIP limits on the basis of your experience until team members agree that they have found reasonable values. Consider holding periodic retrospectives to continuously improve your team’s practices, and refine the WIP limits as part of those retrospectives.
