Courage is different from willpower in the following way:

a. Courage is about the absence of fear; willpower is about the abstract inner strength of an individual.

b. Courage is about giving up ground when pressured; willpower is about standing one’s ground.

c. Courage is about withholding opinions when there is conflict present; willpower is about addressing conflicts quickly

d. Courage is about holding true to controversial beliefs; will power is about letting go of controversial beliefs at the appropriate time
