1. Go to your favorite website and examine the ads that pop up. How many ads depict members of your same sex? How many depict members of a different sex? Are the ads tailored to you and your tastes, or are they generic? Do you deem any of these ads sexist or stereotypical?

2. What's your favorite show? Think of several reasons why this show is your favorite. Do your reasons have more to do with the characters, the setting or scenery, the plot lines, or something else? Now think about a show that you watched and just hated. What was so irritating about that show? Are there any gender issues affecting your decision about most and least favorite TV shows?
