Accepting gifts and amenities is something that is a “no-no” for any employee of any organization. Research and discuss a recent case (within the last 10 years) of an emergency services leader (OEM, EMS, FD, PD, ETC) who either accepted money, trips, or other items in return for a contract or service agreement. Discuss who the person is, their position, what exactly the accusations were, and the outcome of the allegation. Why was it unethical? What could they have done to prevent this from happening?
