Following is the paper, you need to read it and rectify the paper:

Information provided on the website has a major importance in ecommerce business. Customers tend to buy the products or use the services based on the trust and trueness offered to them. In the current scenario, the delivery time of the products makes customers feel in insecure to deal with the website. In today’s business market, it has become a challenge for small online businesses to compete with standing leaders like Amazon, eBay.

Even after having all the facilities such as secured payment systems, guaranteed delivery, deals on a startup website, customers always trust more on ecommerce leaders than on these websites. So, there should be something unique about the website, which other online business doesn’t offer. It’s a well noted fact that, trust, faith and correctness of the website plays a very crucial role for the business. The problems which cause the insecurity over the customers and adversely affect the business are detailed beneath.

• Customers has no idea about the geographical location of business.

• They aren’t aware of the standard of the dealer.

• There is no way a customer could directly contact the dealer.

• No flexibility for getting the products after the business hours.

Sometimes customers aren’t satisfied with the delivery, as they couldn’t be able to deliver the product as it was detailed on the website prior purchase. Online business needs the trust as the main ingredient for its success. Thus the website people should strive to work towards this(T W Lauer & X Deng, 2007). The proposed application streamlines the delivery aspects of the products, which ultimately makes the website unique and down the line, sales on the website will be increased, which is directly proportional to profits of the company.

Keeping the shipping methods on mind, I’ve got an idea from my personal experience. The existing ecommerce websites uses FedEx, USPS, and UPS for shipping their products. These postal services don’t make shipping after their business hours. For example: When ordering something on Amazon.com, we usually see a message popping which say “Order by XX: XX time to get the shipment by tomorrow”. This is a good option as on today. But, what if a customer wants something very urgent, let’s say – in an hour or a couple of hours? There is no such service as of now, where a customer can get the product in few hours. The fastest delivery option available is 1-day delivery, on Amazon. Here, I’d like to make it more flexible for customers to order anytime, and get the product delivered in couple of hours, provided there will be a premium shipping charges.

Application of the Proposal:

In the globalized world, I’ve never seen a person who doesn’t have a smart phone. There are many unemployed people who will be looking for an opportunity to work and get paid, who doesn’t have any qualifications so as to secure a professional job. I’ll create a mobile application for the website, which will be available on Google Play Store and App Store. This application enables anyone to get registered on it, just like the existing applications such as Uber, Lyft, etc... The company will pay them for on monthly basis or service based pay.

Eligibilities for registering on the application:

• Has to be a US Citizen or must have legal work permit in United States.

• Must have a Social Security Number.

• Must have a United States driver’s license.

• Must be at least 21 Years old.

This application uses GPS for tracking the position of the registered persons. We understand this is just a service so any one can register. So, there is flexibility for the person to choose whether he is available or not. Once a person is registered on the application, his details will be stored on the company’s database.

How this application works:

• Whenever a customer wants to order a product with premium shipping, the website asks the customer to confirm the address where the product has to be delivered.

• Then, the inbuilt application takes the customer to the location-based products page, where the customer will be able to view the products which are readily available to order and are available in the nearest warehouse.

• Once the customer finds the product and hit “Continue”, our backend process which is developed on Java, finds the nearest available transporter registered on the application from our database, and triggers him to collect the product from warehouse and deliver it.

• Then, the customer will be shown, in how much time the product would be delivered, if the customer is fine with delivery time, then it would redirect to payment page.

Implementation and Testing plausibility:

The proposed Mobile application for an ecommerce website is less economic and easy implementable solution. The application can be launched and used without pausing the running website. As, the “Instant Ship” application is in the vital and preliminary stage, it embraces in categorizing all the task fundamentals, deliverables in refined section and curbing the appropriate demands, the current course framework of ten weeks may be short. It is more credible for a competent model, captivating customer responses and condemnations on the proposal, so that the prerequisites are preferably designed. Correspondingly, there will be huge number of feedbacks from the customers, the suitable test would be in accumulating the requirements which are most significant fordeveloping an application. Once the nuts and bolts are captured, accomplishing these essentials would emphasize the conclusion of imagined application development.

Trade Practices Act 1974 states that there would be no fraud advertisements about the products which could mislead the customers. If a product is not as what it was shown, then the customer doesn’t have to pay money for that product according to this section.(Sorensen, 2004)

However there are certain additional measures to develop security for the customers, such as:

• Implementing the secure payment options like PayPal, generating OTP (One Time Passwords) for completing the payment, COD (Cash on Delivery).

• 30/90 Days return policy, if the product doesn’t match the expectations.

• Price Match.

• Using SSL (Secure Socket layer) with 128 bit encryption for logging in to the payment accounts.

• Mandatory recommendations for the passwords – Passwords should be at least 6 characters, comprising both numbers and letters in upper case and lower case.

• Guaranteed delivery, which means if the product hasn’t arrived on time, the shipping costs will be refunded.

Microsoft SQL server is the easiest and cost efficient way of storing database of the persons registering in the application. Front end of the application uses JAVA UI and Back end of the application runs are developed on Java structures and automation. Global Positioning System (GPS), is the emerging IT technology available in the world, for tracking the locations of the devices.
