In my opinion when you’re superior recognizes the good work you do it makes you strive to do better. In most of the positions I’ve held the only form of recognition has been a raise. I was taught to have good work ethics so i tend to work hard. I do crave encouragement and recognition which is seldom given so i have never had a since of satisfaction. In one of my first jobs as a receptionist the office was small and like family. The managers were always saying thank you...that was fast and you're so efficient. I really think that was my favorite job and i loved it, it just didn't pay enough for me to support my daughter because i was a single mom.
