Operationalization is the process of defining the measurement of a phenomenon. It is easier to measure some variables in a straight forward fashion ( i.e. gender). Others are harder to measure. For instance frustration is an emotion which we intuitively understand , but cannot measure directly. However, we can measure it through facial expression, loudness, vocabulary used etc. What are the variables that you are measuring?

Write down 4-5 questions each that could be used to measure them. How will you measure them? Why will you use this method of measurement? Find appropriate scales to measure your variables. Also draw a box and arrow model detailing how your variables connect to each other.
