Discuss the 2-3 vulnerabilities (hint one occurred online, one at Verizon, the last at AOL) exploited by the attacker.

Perform research and discuss some possible countermeasures that can be put in place to slow down or prevent the attack from occurring in the future. At the very least discuss countermeasures for AOL and Verizon.

Discuss the following questions after performing research:

Is this attack the only one like it to occur or has anyone else fallen victim to this type of attack?

What was the motivation of the attack?

Was this a very sophisticated attack?

What was the root cause of the attack?

Was the root cause of the attack a system, process, or people problem?

Analyze and discuss the attack

Then talk about the various defenses to patch the vulnerabilities that were exploited.
