The ACM (Association for Computer Machinery) has a created a list of commandments or moral values that computer professionals should have. The International Council of E-Commerce Consultants created has created a code of ethics. This code of ethics expresses the consensus of the profession on ethical issues and is a means to educate both the public and those who are entering the field about the ethical obligations of all e-commerce consultants.
