The issue of access to oral health care is one that exists in all states and many communities. Search the internet and find an innovative program that has been developed to increase access to care for one or more of the following populations. Include in your discussion a full description of the program: name of program, location, when it began, when does it occur (once in a while, ongoing), who it helps, how many people it serves, how is it funded, your opinion of the program, would you recommend beginning it in your area, and anything else that is pertinent to the program. Each community program can only be presented by one student, thus early posting is best. If a community program has already been presented that student will need to highlight a different program or will not receive points for this discussion.
