Discuss the components that make up the discipline of Organizational Behavior. From this discussion, please explain in great detail the demographic trends pertaining to racial groups, educational mismatches, and the aging workforce as they are very real challenges being faced in 2015. Summarize the conclusions derived from your research about the outcomes associated with today’s organizations in regards to these issues. Include an Organization that is coping with these problems today.

Differentiate between individual differences that lead to individual and organizational success. Summarize the factors that have an impact on job satisfaction and workers’ productivity. Explain how job satisfaction and productivity are directly related to the Organization and its Mission, Vision, and Culture. Include an Organization that has a vested interest in its employee’s success.

Distinguish between the basic elements that are classified as the “foundations” of motivation (Maslow, Alderfer, and McClelland, etc.). Distinguish between performance management, learning goals, and performance outcome goals. Summarize from the research how goals and motivation are related to helping the Organization achieve its objectives, both long and short-term. Include an Organization that is keen on motivation.

Examine the group and social processes related to the field of Organizational Behavior. More specifically, distinguish between the steps of the decision-making process and how it affects both individuals and groups within the Organization. Also, summarize the effect of group think and intergroup conflict in the context of the decision-making process. Include an Organization that makes big decisions on a daily basis.

Examine the key components of influence, empowerment, and leadership. Summarize Levin’s change model leading to Organizational change. Explain why organization’s struggle with change and list some external forces of change (customer’s preferences, etc.). Include an Organization that is good with facilitating and embracing change.

Conclusion of your findings and how they relate to Organizations mentioned in the body of the paper.
