Write a reaction to the following statement: “Knowledge is the technology which has increased globalization. Thus, globalization then leads to the need for increased education”

According to some sociologist, growth of knowledge is the single most important factor contributing to economic growth. It can be linked to the movement toward globalization. Globalization and economics are intrinsically linked. Thus knowledge and globalization must be linked. Friedman argued that “globalization has its own defining technologies: computerization, miniaturization, digitization, satellite communications, fiber optics, and the Internet, which reinforce its defining perspective of integration”. According to him, “these technologies have changed the rules of the game for multinational corporations by making innovation and the ability to adapt to rapid change the keys to success in the global marketplace”.
