please choose a scientific journal article. NEWSPAPER, MAGAZINE OR WEBSITE ARTICLES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. The article must have a research methodology (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods research design) and not a review or opinion piece.

SECTION I (Database and keyword information)

a. The databases that were searched.b. The search terms used.c. The database and search term(s) that resulted in finding the article you selected.d. Identify the study and its author(s) and provide full bibliographic information.

SECTION II (A critical review of the article)

A critical review of a journal article describes the general nature of the work reported in the article and summarizes, analyzes, and evaluates that work. The critical review has three main parts that should be written in coherent paragraphs (a, b, and c below)

In section c (longest section), you must thoughtfully and carefully analyze the various parts of the article to identify its strengths and weaknesses. Considering an article's strengths and weaknesses allows a more thorough assessment and balanced evaluation of its evidence and arguments.

In your assignment, please respond to all the questionsbelow when critiquing the article, provide examples and explain your reasoning for yes/no questions:

a. Identification of author(s) and work Does the article contain a full bibliographic citation (author, date, journal article title, journal's name, volume, number, and pages)? Is relevant biographical information about the author's qualifications included?

b. Summary of the main points in Abstract Does the abstract define the general subject, problem, or research area, the scope of the article (i.e., what the author intends to discuss and why), and the central idea or finding? Does the abstract present the author's major findings and conclusions?

c. Analysis and evaluation What is the objective, goal, and purpose of the research study or work discussed in the article? What are the research question and the hypothesis? Does the author accomplish this objective? (e.g., sometimes the research questions or the goal do not match the methodology) Is it a qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method design? Who is the intended audience? Is the writing style appropriate for this audience, or should the author have used a different level of language, vocabulary, and sentence patterns? What is the effect of the author's language? Are the vocabulary and sentence structure appropriate for the intended message? Does the author maintain neutrality or objectivity when choosing words and terms, or are they emotionally charged or biased? Does the author define any terms? Are the definitions specific, clear, and useful? Are illustrations, tables, or graphs used? Do they complement the text? Are these the most appropriate methods of presenting data? Are these tools beneficial or unnecessary? Does the author suggest areas for further research or discussion? What is the size of the references section? Are the references recent and important? Are they used for support or rebuttal?
