Videos like these remind me how grateful I should be for the things I have today that others may not have, I may not be the richest in having millions and living in a mansion, but I am rich in having a roof over my head, food on the table, clothes, water, etc. There are other people in the world living worse than me.

A time where I faced miscommunication with myself and another person when it came to cultural differences, was at a previous job I had as a cashier. Working in customer service you get a variety of customers from different places and of other cultures. One day a customer from another country came in but spoke a foreign language, and she was trying to communicate with me about a product. But unfortunately I could not understand her very well and she could not understand me either. I was struggling but trying my best to try and use other forms to communicate with her to try and understand her but It did not work. So she just got frustrated and said never mind. In this situation it made me realize that learning about other languages from other cultures is an important thing, if in the future I would like to be able to communicate well with others who speak other languages. .....................................................................................
