We've already said earlier in this course that self-knowledge can really help us do rewarding research, as well as ethical research. Becoming ever more mindful of our biases, for example, helps us see past them when we're encountering new material. In this unit, where you are going to direct most of your own inquiry, having a rich sense of your interests and loyalties will help you with your biases, of course, but we're mainly interested in making this project as rewarding as it can be.

• Take your own Interest Inventory (answering whichever of the following prompts best fit with your life):
• What are your favorite physical activities (e.g. sports, going dancing at clubs, taking long walks on the beach, hunting, fishing, driving fast, etc.)? Why?

• What else are you into that we didn't think to ask about?
