Write a null and alternative hypothesis for a situation that interests you

When you state your hypothesis statements be sure that the null deals with equality (everything is the same no matter what the treatment) and the alternative (ha)deals with the specific case (less than, greater than or not equal).

For example if I am looking at my last few training runs for a half marathon my goal may be to average out at less than a 8 minute mile

My hypothesis statements would look like this:

Ho: mean=8 min/mile

Ha: Mean < 8 min/mile

Explain ONE possible p value that would cause you to reject the null and support the alternative and explain why thep value fits this criteria.
