The capital of Sallam Company consists of 7% preference shares (90,000 shares of OMR 10 each) and 200,000 outstanding equity shares of OMR 12 each. The company use to pay 15% dividends to its equity shareholders and planning to continue the same this year. A. Prepare the Statement of Retained Earnings for Al-Maraseem Company for the financial year ending on 31st August 2019. (5 marks) B. Calculate the Earnings per Share (EPS) of Al-Maraseem Company.
