Suppose that there are 2 jobs (J1, J2) and 5 machines (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5) in a jobshop production environment. Both of the jobs must be processed on all of the machines but the machine routing must be different for each job. We want to minimize the makespan by using Akers' graphical solution approach. a) Construct the problem accordingly by assigning the processing times and the machine routing for each job and filling in the following table. Here pij is the processing time of job j(j=1,2) on machine i(i=1,2,3,4,5). Select different integer processing times from the common interval [1;30]. Copy the whole table into your answer sheet. Otherwise, the solution cannot be evaluated. b) Show your solution on a coordinate system based on Akers' solution approach. Show the infeasible (forbidden) regions and write the machine name inside each forbidden region. Show the machine routing and processing times of the operations for ach job properly. Please use the horizontal axis for J1 and the vertical axis for J2. Draw the optimal path for the problem. (Note: If you try more than one path, please use different colors for these paths. Whenever you switch to a different line type, for instance from a horizontal line to diagonal or vertical, please write the coordinates as we did in the lecture and class. Otherwise, it becomes too difficult for me to evaluate your solution properly) c) Draw a machine-oriented Gantt chart of the solution where we have the machines on the vertical axis and time on the horizontal axis. Write the optimal makespan value based on the Gantt chart
