A randomized, double-blinded clinical trial was conducted where 300 HIV infected patients were enrolled and randomized at baseline to one of three arms (100 per arm): Placebo P, drug A, or drug B. The outcome of interest was patients' viral load (copies/mL) 12 weeks after baseline. A viral load of less than 50 copies/mL is considered "undetectable."
