In your opinion, what are some of the central challenges that still exist in American society today when it comes to Gay and Lesbian Rights in the USA? Can we compare homophobic rhetoric that exists in the USA with homophobic rhetoric and policies that exist in Uganda, for example (think of the discussions that Tamale presents in Confronting the Politics of Non-Conforming Sexualities in Africa).
