I am having trouble understanding where the variables plug into theformulas. Correct me if I am wrong but, I think they mean for number 1 will be 80 for the 80% of the kids, because 100 times 0.8 is 80. Next the standard deviation will be the square root of 80 times (1 - 80) divided by 100. from there I believe to find the probabilities are found using the bell curves putting 80 in the center then adding and subtracting the standard deviation on each side to find the variables to figure out what the percentage chance that the number of students designated is.
