The comedian I chose, Patton Oswald supported Freud's Theory by the way he used tension to build up to the suspense of his jokes. Another thing, normally if you talk bad about people who die of cancer people would be offended, but in this sense it was ok. That shows that people find aggressive humor funnier.

I agree to a certain point. The main thing is that you have to be careful when you try and defuse tension with a hostile joke. If the person does not find it funny, it will only make things worse. (I know James Withers shared the same opinion, so I acknowledge that he said so first. I am not trying to steal his thoughts.)
