Each digit of the readout is formed from seven LED segments, where each segment can be illuminated by a digital signal. A binary to seven-segment converter is a combinational circuit that accepts a decimal digit in binary and generates the appropriate outputs for the segments of the display for that decimal digit. Design a seven-segment converter having as input a 4-bit binary number and producing as output one decimal digit that could be displayed with a seven-segment display.
