1. During the season,some NFL athletes "took a knee" before the beginning of several NFL football games. While no one can precisely explain the reason for the "knee" or the reason forthe protest many have expressed opinions, both positive and negative regarding the NFL players protest. Your assignment, should you wish to accept it, is to not only provide an opinion (positive or negative) regarding the protests and (more importantly) the legal justification (orlack thereof) for the protests. 2. Mid-March of 2020, during the COVID-19 19 Pandemic , all religious places of worship were ordered to close their doors due to the ongoing COVID 19 Pandemic. The Governor of New York Issued an Executive order, stating that all religious places of worship, shall hold no more than 10- 15-25 persons in one sitting. Recently, the Supreme Court in 5-4 decision barred restrictions on religious services in New York that Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo had imposed to combat the coronavirus.
