4. Explain and evaluate the different methods to value unpaid work (pp. 205-208) and why it matters (pp. 209-215). Compare and contrast the research findings in different countries in terms of government policies and gender differences. What, if any, are the ethical considerations therein?

5. Explain and discuss the role of government policy in structuring black families. How and why is it different from white families. Given this history in the U.S., does the government have a responsibility to support/strengthen black families and/or individuals? Why or why not?

6. Explain and discuss the rhetoric of "family values" and the specific values feminist wish to pass on to their children about the structure of family. How can the government and society support the diversity of families that exist? How does this relate to your own family values that you grew up with and/or wish to apply to you present/future family?
