(2a) What are some ways that "doing" and "displaying" family experiences? What are various functions of these practices, and what do they seemingly express/portray about family ?

(3) View the first episode of Grace and Frankie on Netflix and write extensively about how it relates to Wolkomir's "Making Heteronormative Reconciliations" (2009) findings. Identify three identity management or stigma neutralization techniques utilized by both married couples and their families. Also offer some insights about how the dynamics within these marriages could influence whether each couple ultimately decides to stay together romantically/sexually, stay together platonically, or divorce?

(4) In accordance with Lareau's "Invisible Inequality" (2002) findings, would you describe your communication style as one that is more consistent with constraint or entitlement? How was this influenced by aspects of your upbringing (such as language used at home, your family's social connections, and/or the ways that daily life was organized)? How does it continue to shape your interactions and outcomes with dominant institutions - like healthcare, schools, courts, financial institutions etc? Give an extensive answer.

#5 - STRUGGLES, COMMUNICATION & HEALING

(5) Apply one exercise or interactional advice proposed by Lindsay Gibson's (2015) Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents - which include evaluating true vs role selves (p.124-125), focusing on relatedness/observations (p.146-148), implementing the maturity awareness approach (p.148-157), assessing someone's/your own maturity level (p.191-192), or developing new relationship habits (p.193-195). Reflect deeply about the experience with this process and what can be learned. What aspects of it were the most and the least helpful/insightful, respectively? Why?
