1. Fazli went to Premier Sports Shop to buy a pair of sports shoes. He selected a pair of sports shoes marked 60% discount at the shelves. He brought the shoes to the cashier to pay but he was told that the shoes were wrongly placed at the shelves and there was no discount for the shoes as the shoes were new arrival items. Fazli was upset as he claims that the shop had breached the contract. Advise Fazli. 2 Rick accidentally left his laptop bag containing his laptop at a cafe. Ron who worked at the cafe found the laptop bag and knew that it belonged to Rick, so he returned it to Rick. After returning it, Ron found out that Rick had advertised a reward to anyone who returns the laptop bag. Ron claims for the reward, but Rick refused to pay as he said that there was no contract between them. Advise Ron. 3. Rina wants to sell her apartment. Sheera was interested to buy the apartment and told Rina that she was prepared to pay RM400,000 for it. Without waiting for Rina's reply, Sheera contacted a lawyer to prepare the sale and purchase agreement. Meanwhile, Rina sold the apartment to someone else at a better price. Sheera was upset when she found out that Rina had sold the apartment. She wants to sue Rina for breach of contract Advise Rina on her liability. 4. Leong made an offer to sell his motor workshop to Jason at RM800,000. Jason agrees to buy it if Leong reduces the price to RM500,000. He also wants Leong to renovate the toilet first. Unhappy with Jasonis response, Leong sold the shop to Ah Seng who was willing to pay RM800,000 for it in its present condition. Jason claims that Leong has breached the contract as Jason had already accepted Leong's offer. Jason intends to sue Leong Advise Leong. 5. Datuk M in Penang posted a letter to Datuk P in Melaka, offering to sell his factory and asked Datuk P to reply in writing before 23 January 2018. On 10th January, Datuk P posted a letter agreeing to purchase the factory. However, the letter reached Datuk M on 29" January. By that time, Datuk M had already agreed to sell to someone else. Datuk P insists that the contract is valid and wishes to sue Datuk M for breach of contract
