A group of 2 will choose a sports brand or team and present how the chosen brand or team has been utilizing the blockchain technology such as metaverse, NFT, etc. to enhance consumer experience or quality of their core produt. The length of the presentation should be around 10 minutes in addition to a 5- minute Q&A session. Importantly, the relevant information (ie., reference sources-news articles) to be presented should be shared with class at least a week prior to your presentation date. The minimum content to be included in the presentation is: (a) why the blockchain technology (e.g., metaverse, NFT) is sport marketing's next big thing?; (b) blockchain marketing vs. traditional digital marketing: (c) actual examples of metaverse/NFT marketing used by the focal team or brand you selected; (d) expected outcome(s) of the blockchain marketing: (e) how the team or brand will benefit from blockchain marketing/ what marketing problems will blockchain technology solve; and (f) how the blockchain technology will change the future marketing?
