1. Group Project - Part 1 Part 1 of this project, your team is expected to produce the following four deliverable: 1. Team Charter and Pledge form - every group member must complete/sign the attached team charter and pledge form. Please see page 110 Table 3-8 for an example of the Team Charter, Please note that team charter and pledge form is a pre-requisite for all of the deliverables for this project. If a group fails to submit the completed form, the group will receive a zero for this part of the evaluation. 2. Evaluate the four projects by preparing a weighted scoring model. You can find the template in eConestoga Course Shell -> Content -> Course Information -> eText-> Templates by Process group. Develop at least four criteria, assign weights to each criterion, assign scores, and then calculate the weighted scores. Save the spreadsheet and bar chart with the results. Also write a one-page paper that describes this weighted scoring model and the results. 3. Prepare a business case for the Global Treps project. Assume that the project will take six months to complete, use many volunteer hours, and cost about $120,000 for hardware, software, travel, and labor. Use the business case template provided (eConestoga Course Shell -> Content -> Course Information - > eText->Templates by Process group ). Visit DonorsChoose.org to see how that site operates and look into steps for forming a non-profit organization. 4. Prepare a draft project charter for the Global Treps project. Assume that the project will take six months to complete and have a budget of $120,000. Use the project charter template provided (eConestoga Course Shell -> Content -> Course Information -> eText->Templates by Process group ) and the sample project charter provided in Table 4-1 in your textbook as guides. You will be the project manager, and Dr. K. will be the project sponsor. Other team members will include Bobby, Ashok, Kim, and Alfreda. You plan to hold four shark tank like events plus develop the Global Treps site and application. 5. Send out Meeting Minutes. You will need to hold one or more meeting to plan and work on project deliverables. Your group leader should capture minutes from these meetings and send out an an email to all team members and your professor. You can use the template found in eConestoga Course Shell -> Content -> Course Information -> eText-> Templates by Process group. Your minutes should include the following: Agenda - an exact copy of the meeting agenda, including allotted times Attendees - who attended, who was absent, who came as a guest Summaries of each agenda item discussed - detailed enough so that anyone who was not present would get the gist by reading the minutes Action items - the next steps agreed upon during the meeting, including what needs to be done by who and by when Combine all meeting minutes in one word file and upload as submission
