(HAZEL) IP didn't have a quite successful recreation program as their program was mostly based on the protection of endangered species. Another focus they had was with timber production. As Bourland's main task was to change the mindset of the IP Executives, the dramatic changes occurred during the 1980's and the 1990's. The IP Executives realized the main benefits of the recreation and wildlife program. Due to this realization they have allowed wildlife to grow, which helped increase the timber production
