1. How did you use the information you had prior to the initial client sessions to inform the process? Include what the information was and how you planned the sessions accordingly. What were your goals for each client session?

2. Discuss how you used open and closed questioning or probing techniques to gather information about each client. How did you then use this information as a foundation for each client's counselling process and relationship?

3. How did you use your body language to make each client feel comfortable?

4. How did you use reflecting feelings to identify client needs and expectations and use these to structure counselling sessions? Explain how you followed the basic structure of a counselling interview.

5. How did you use summarising to clarify and confirm each client's expectations of and commitment to the counselling process? If their expectations of the counselling experience were different to what you provided, what information did you offer to inform them on what the counselling service can provide?

6. How did you identify if the clients had any anxieties about the counselling process? Explain what these were and what communication techniques you implemented to explore these anxieties with each client.

7. Did your clients express any pressing concerns? How did you acknowledge and show respect for these?

8. If applicable, describe how you identified each client needed assistance that was outside your scope of practice. What indicators were present and who did you report or refer the client to?

9. What approach to the counselling relationship did you and each client determine was best suited to the client's needs? How did you communicate this?

10. Outline each client's counselling plan:

a) What were their goals?

b) What did they identify were the their priorites?

c) Were there any safety or reporting issues present?

d) What observations did you make about each client's needs for the counselling process?

e) If applicable, include the referral information

f) Any special needs information

g) What strategies are you planning to use to evaluate the counselling process and relationship?

h) Explain the process for documenting a disclosure agreement and organisational agreements. What does this include for this each client?
