- What made you want to get involved in your industry? Who helped you along the way?
- What was the biggest learning curve for you? How did you overcome this challenge?
- Who was your biggest influence or who did you want to emulate? What made this person so prominent?
- Did you ever have a poor leader? What was the biggest lesson you learned not to do from them?
- How do you feel is the best way to address conflict? Did you learn any of your lessons the hard way?
- If you could start over tomorrow, what would you do differently?
- For someone like me who is just starting off wanting to get into your industry, what tips do you have for me?
- Have you set goals for yourself that you either met or didn't? what would be some goals you would suggest I think about in the next two years?
- Have you ever worked to develop an employees talents or skills? If so, what was something you learned in that process, what was the outcome?
2. Once you conduct your interview, write out the interview and apply at least two of the course concepts within your text to at least two of the questions you asked your Interviewee.
3. Discuss at least three takeaways you will have from your interview that you can apply to your job search or future job.
