1. In the last decade as reported by various cooperating agencies (World Bank, ADB, UNDP) there has been a decline in the contribution of the agriculture sector in the economic pie. Although, total economic figures posit increase but taking a closer look, it's the industry and services sectors which fueled the increase. As a student, do you think this paints a positive outlook of the Philippine economy? Why?/why not? 2. With the declining trend of agriculture's contribution to the economic pie, do you still consider the Philippines as an agricultural nation? 3. In your own opinion, how do you balance sustainable agriculture and food sufficiency with the growing population of the Philippines?
