There are many shared files between all employees, Because of this, there are many problems such as: 1. Duplicated files. 2. Many versions for each file. 3. Modified old files. 4. Some employees use Windows 0S and others use Fedora 0S. 2. TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF SOLVNG COMPANY PROBLEM A file server must be construct to enable file sharing across different operating systems wver local network. Employee can access shared space using their computerx. Abe, the server allows to any user related to manger group access private space using their username and password. 3. WHAT YOU NEED A. samba package: samba, samba-common and samba-clicnt, B. Virtual machine: VMware or VirtulBox. C. Host operating systern: Microsoft windows 10 or 11 . D. Guest operating systera: fedora 37 4. STEPS - install virtual machine. - Install fedora OS on virtual machine. - Install samba, sambu-common and samba-client using DNF software package manager. - Create a shared directory with name (shared) in /srvilamba. - change permissions of /srvisambu' shared to (Read, Write \& Execute). - change ewnership of /srvisamba/share to no body. - change the security conted of isrv/sambashare to samba_share_t using choon 4 samba_share_t. - create a manger group and add users to it. - configure the Samba share directory in the smb. conf file ( path: icte ismba/smb. conf). - caable samba servise and allow samba services to work in firewall. - Start samba service. 5.
