1- *Lites Inc. is a company that manufactures light bulbs and other lighting products, but it is has problems. Last year it designed a small new light that looks like an ice cube. It is a bright waterproof light that can go in drinking glasses. It called it Ice Lites. Lites registered this creation with the appropriate government office. It is sold by major retailers. Recently Lites noticed a competitor, Bulbs Ltd., has made a light that looks exactly like their ice cube light, but theirs is called Ice Lights. This new product has seriously reduced Lites sales and they are sure that Bulbs has completely copied their product. Lites plans to take legal action against Bulbs because of their similar product. They also claim that the names of the two products are also much too similar. Bulbs claims it has the right to make any product it wants and Lites cant do anything about it. The owner of Bulbs, Erik Lee, spoke at a lighting convention and said he created the original ice cube light and Lites Inc. are cheap inferior copies of Bulbs lights. Lawyers have been contacted.
