Note: Use the following scenario to answer questions ABC and D The country in the scenario is not specified; do not assume youre in the United States.
Scenario: William is a truck driver for a small trucking company in an unspecified country. A recent natural disaster has left the people in a particular region of the country stranded and in need of supplies. Poor weather frequent lightning storms and VERY low visibility due to clouds has made it impossible for supplies to be delivered to the people by air plane helicopter, etc. His manager calls him from work to ask him to drive a truck of supplies to the region in need. The owner of the company is also on the call and verbally agrees with the manager.
Today is William's day off. He is already dressed to attend his nephews wedding. So obviously, the phone call he received is not the call he was expecting. In addition, he has been watching the news about the natural disaster. He is aware that delivering supplies to the devastated region will require him to drive on bridges that were weakened by the natural disaster and that may potentially collapse. He is also aware that, if the people dont receive any supplies in the immediate future, all of the communities in the impacted region will experience significant illness, suffering, andor death. So William must choose between attending his nephew's wedding or delivering the supplies to the devastated region.
