If the string is plucked,

i) find the speed (in m/s) on the waves on this string.

3) A violin string which is fixed at both ends has length 32.6 cm long. The string is oscillating in its fundamental mode and the speed of waves on the string is 330 m/s.

i) Find the frequency of the emitted sound waves (in Hz).

ii) If the ambient room temperature is 19.4 degrees Celsius, find the wavelength (in m) of the sound wave in air.
