Independent Project Requirements August 2022 Frequency CO Data File: DO NOT USE THE SINGLE MOTHERS DATA FILE that was used for many years in prior sections. In a separate document, I have discussed the options for the dataset. This short document will focus on the requirements for the written submission. Please see the Sample Project which shows us an excellent example of how to complete this assignment. I have annotated the Sample Project with my grading concerns, for your reference. Questions and requirements below: Answer these six questions, using StatCrunch, for graphing and calculations. Explain and define the statistics terminology. State the null and alternative hypotheses, as appropriate. Explain the results using statistics terminology and plain English. 1. Frequency distribution of a variable and bar graph of the same variable Requirements: one nominal variable, one variable, frequency distribution table, bar graph (not histogram), not a continuous variable. Written explanation and analysis. Frequency table results for Heart Rate: Count = 25 Heart Rate Frequency Percent of Total Cumulative Percent of Total 100 120 140 160 90 to 100 Heart Rate 100 to 110 110 to 120 2. Descriptives of a continuous variable: mean, median, mode, skewness, 120 to 130 kurtosis, standard deviation and graph of that variable 130 to 140 140 to 150 Requirements: continuous variable (so not the same variable as Q #1), one variable, summary 150 to 160 100 statistics, histogram, written explanation and analysis, define terms, and analysis. 3. Cross tabulation of two variables with Chi Square test Requirements: two nominal variables, independent variable in the columns (groups), dependent
