Printing or emailing the boarding pass. 3. Your ERD design must take into account the following requirements: a. Bookings can be made by members or non-members of Raffles Frequent Flyer Club. b. Once travel has been completed, the members points balance would be updated with the points earned for the flight. Members can use their accumulated flight points to pay for future bookings. C. There are different types of seat classes available for passengers to chose from i.e. first class, business class, premier economy class and economy class. d. The price of each flight ticket is the sum of the base ticket price for the flight and the seat premium charge rate. The seat premium charge rate for each class is different but for each class, the premium charge rate is the same regardless of destination. e. Once payment has been successfully processed, a booking number would be issued and a ticket would be issued for each reserved flight within the booking. The details of the booking and all its reserved flights, would be sent to the customer's stated email. f. Before any flight can be scheduled, the airline must receive permission from the relevant airport authorities. The permit number of the flight is kept in the database for easy access. g. The type of aircraft used for each scheduled flight may vary. h. Air-crew are assigned to serve on each scheduled flight. Staff are usually scheduled to fly from or to the country where they are based. The role the staff takes may differ for each scheduled flight. For example a staff may be the flight captain in a short distance flight but may be assigned to be the second pilot on a longer distance flight. i. The baggage weight allowance a passenger is allowed on a flight is dependent on his/her seat class. j. Passwords and payment details are not kept in the system.
