Case study 3
You are the Lead Educator in the toddler room at XYZ Child Care Centre. A recent newsletter asked parents and families to consider donating items for the children to use for dramatic play.
Charlie's dad Ian donated a large box full of egg cartons, milk cartons, empty toilet rolls and travel brochures from his workplace and said that he will continue to donate these every month. Due to health and safety reasons as stated in the Centre's Health & Safety Policy, you will not be able to use the egg cartons, milk cartons and empty toilet rolls.
Create a communication response to Ian thanking him for his contribution and advising him of the items you can and can't accept as donations.
