2. While you watch and listen to the speech, you will analyze the speaker's success at clearly and effectively conveying his or her message. You need to understand the content of the speech, but you are assessing how effectively the speaker uses words and persuasive language techniques (rhetoric) to achieve the goals of the speech.

3. After you have listened to the speech twice and taken notes, analysis that explains how the speaker uses three style techniques to inform and persuade the audience. You should use the style analysis format that you received in class. It is posted below for reference.
