1. Set up the appropriate IP addresses and subnet masks on the PCs and router interfaces. Use the last available addresses for each network as the IP address for the router interfaces. 2. Assign hostnames and banners to the switches and routers. 3. On the routers, set up a password of cisco, logging synchronous and exec-timeouts of 2 minutes on the VTY and console lines. 4. Set up service password encryption on the routers. 5. Set up static routes on the routers as needed to ensure all devices can connect. 6.
