1. Share a topic you would like to research and why. The topic must be within the domain of psychology, or the study of behavior and mental processes. Remember to be very specific and share the research question that would guide your study. Example: Is there a correlation between parenting styles and the development of learning disabilities?

2. Review the research methods in Chapter 2 (2.2), and share which research method you would use for your research study and why. Be sure to carefully consider the method you choose. Some may be better choices than others when looking to conduct certain studies. Example: Observational studies may not be the best choice if looking at correlations between poor grades and parenting styles. (How and where would you be able to "observe" the participants without their knowledge?)

3. Share the advantages and disadvantages of your chosen method and what you would need to be aware of ethically in your approach.
