Are you personally aware of a legal challenge, (i.e., grievance, hearing, lawsuit) that involved a special need's student? Describe the circumstances and how it was resolved. 2. In your opinion, what is the most litigious area schools face in regards to serving students with special needs? 3. How do you determine what is an "appropriate" education that is consistent with FAPE? Have there been instances where the school's view of "appropriate" was not consistent with a parent's view of an "appropriate" level of education? Describe the circumstances and how it was resolved. 4. How are Child Finds conducted in the district? 5. What do you wish all principals knew about Special Education?
