1. STATE: Which type of fastfood chain fills orders most accurately at the drivethru window? The Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) magazine drivethru study visits restaurants in the largest fastfood chains in all50states. Visits occurred throughout the day, starting at 5:00A.Mand ending at 7:00P.M.During each visit, the researcher ordered the main item, a side item, and a drink, and made a minor special request such as a beverage with no ice. After receiving the order, all food and drink items were checked for complete accuracy. Any food or drink item received that was not exactly as ordered resulted in the order being classified as inaccurate. Also included in the measurement of accuracy were condiments asked for, napkins, straws, and correct change. Any errors in these resulted in the order being classified as inaccurate.

In 2019, Arby's, Burger King, Carl's Jr., Chick-fil-A, Dunkin', Hardee's, KFC, McDonald's, Taco Bell, and Wendy's were included in the study. KFC had the most inaccuracies, with56of165orders classified as inaccurate. What proportion of orders are filled accurately by KFC? (Use95% confidence.)

Determine a95%confidence interval for the population proportion of orders that are filled accurately by KFC. Give your answer as an interval in the form(lower bound, upper bound).Give the bounds to four decimal places. Enter DNE if the conditions are not met.

2. Does the order in which wine is presented make a difference? In this study, subjects were asked to taste two wine samples in sequence. Both samples given to a subject were the same wine, although subjects were expecting to taste two different samples of a particular variety. Of the32subjects in the study,22selected the wine presented first when presented with two identical wine samples.

If the conditions for the use of the plus-four confidence interval are met, use the plus-four methods to give a90%confidence interval for the proportion of subjects who would select the first choice presented. Give your answers to four decimal places. If the conditions are not met, leave the boxes empty.
