This study, by Dr. Bok Cluckington, concluded that chicken with awesomenomomium does indeed cause such effects. However, Dr. Cluckington is an employee of a radical organization famous for trying to prevent people from eating meat and in his study he exclusively tested a certain radioactive derivative of awesomenomomium. The French government decides to rely on this study and implements the ban. The US then sues France at the WTO, claiming that the measure is not consistent with the SPS agreement. What are some arguments in favor of the French measure? Against? How would the WTO analyze this issue?
