1. The leadership both at WWF and Allianz were very forward thinking to become involved in this partnership. Profile one leader from each organization and explain why they choose to take this on. Use the literature on leadership in partnerships to analyze the kind of leader each is.
2. Review the climate change risks on the banking and asset management sectors identified early in the case (p. 4). How do these fit in to the kind of issues that only a multi-sector partnership could address? Use the literature calling for multi-sector partnerships to back up your response.
3. The Partnership agreement signed in December 2007 was quite ambitious, read about it in the case and be sure to review Exhibit 5. Review the implementation challenges the partnership experienced (pp. 8-9 of case). Choose two of the challenges and reference possible solutions to these issues, citing the relevant literature on challenges and "fixes".
4. Put yourself in the position of Michael Anthony, of Allianz, at the end of the case (p. 10) and review the questions he is contemplating for his upcoming meeting with Matthias Kopp, from WWF. Choose two of the questions and answer them, using literature frameworks, to help inform the responses. Address how the strategy Anthony will propose/discuss with Kopp, could address the issues in the partnership at this point.

There are three required case assignments during the semester. Cases will be posted on the course web site. They are \"major\" cases, meaning they are lengthy and in-depth, with a complex set of events and organizational actors. These cases require signicant time to analyze and craft well thought-out responses for each discussion question. The concepts relevant to these cases span multiple text chapters and articles. Case Reading and Analysis Instructions Case preparation for a case in a graduate level course is time-consuming and different than in other courses you may have taken. Remember that case writers very rarely include information in a written case unless it is integral to the managerial decisionmaking process. So, while some things may seem superfluous in reading a case, they are not...context and details are important, they represent the \"data" you will use to respond to the assigned discussion questions. You must read a case multiple times in order to absorb what is happening in that set of organizations and the context on which analysis depends. This is especially true of cases on partnerships, which include multiple organizations. Outside research is not needed for these case analyses (unless a final question explicitly asks you to search the internet for a case update); use only the data from the written case. The following gives you step-by-step instructions how to prepare a Case and complete the Case Written Analysis. 1. Read the case for the 1St time for context and write down: key stakeholders (groups and organizations), key individuals involved, their position or role, timeline of key events; write down events/trends/issues both in the evolving partnership, and in the broader environment. Use bulleted lists for this section. (this analysis is a graded portion of the analysis, only use key events to keep overall background analysis NO longer than 1.5 pages) 2. Read the case a 2rd time to answer the assigned discussion questions (th will be posted with the assignment on the Canvas web site) a. Think carefully about what the question is asking and which frameworks from the readings would be relevant to the question. The major cases for this class cover multiple chapters/articles and therefore need thoughtful consideration. (If you are unsure which frameworks to use, take an initial stab at what the frameworks are and consult with Dr. Altman via Canvas message.) b. Write out your responses to each discussion question applying the applicable concepts with \"data\" (events from the case) that supports your analysis 1 I MGMT 5330 Dr. Altman Case Analysis Instructions Ill 0Step by Step Solution
